The Coincidence Behind Creativity
Often creativity is a coincidence. You're sitting on the train and you look outside, and yes then you had that "aha" moment, where you connect missing dots. Another time you look at your notes again. You start writing something down and suddenly you see it. Eureka! I have to focus on that. Or you followed a stimulating session, and you processed it later. And suddenly it was there. That golden idea.
How does creativity actually work? Why do you have that “coincidence” to stumble upon that idea? Often the idea springs up long before that aha moment. long before the moment you have that aha moment.
Everyone has their own style of creativity
What exactly works for you to be extra creative? We all have our own style and preference in what works for us in creativity.
Because for one person it is more desk research and taking it all in at a leisurely pace. While for another it is more about talking to others about their thoughts. Some prefer to experiment and try out a lot of new things. While others hope that the idea will be thrown in their lap.
And that is exactly what we want to work on. How do we help that “coincidence” to be more creative.
